Principal Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary
Monitor and manage Intralinks network infrastructure, acting as first responders to organize incident response and control service disruptions. Handle complex technical support issues across multi-vendor, multi-appliance environments, including network and firewall troubleshooting, scripting changes, and infrastructure updates. Ensure service levels align with agreed policies and standards by resolving incidents, supporting network faults, and maintaining accurate troubleshooting records. Contribute to operational system development and write technical SOPs using industry-standard ticketing systems. Requires extensive enterprise NOC experience with LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancing, and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a fast paced, enterprise NOC role (minimum 2nd or 3rd line experience)
- In-depth support experience of LAN & WAN technologies
- Exposure to firewalls, and load balancing with an understanding of: Security Posture: Firewalling, ACLs, industry best practice, Internet architectures
- Load Balancing: F5 LB, VE, LTM, APM, etc.
- VPN: SSL and IPSec
- Understanding of Wireless technologies
- Understanding/experience with ISO and ITIL standards
- Experience Supporting or Working with Cloud Technologies: AWS
