Job Summary
As the Principal Engineer for NPE Observability, act as the lead architect for distributed systems that ingest, store, and analyze the global network state. Design high-performance ingestion engines and massive parallel processing pipelines to enable real-time anomaly detection. Direct the lifecycle of network data, integrate AI practices for incident response, and optimize data processing across network protocols. Enforce architectural integrity and act as a mentor to enhance the skills of less experienced engineers, bridging the gap between NetOps, DevOps, and Security to standardize observability practices.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years architecting distributed systems, high-scale observability platforms, or mission-critical network software
Desired Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Go
- Deep fluency in gNMI, SNMP and Flow protocols
- Extensive experience architecting on Kubernetes, Jenkins and ArgoCD
- Expert experience architecting distributed systems and high-scale observability fabrics
- Proven experience developing AI Agents using LLMs
