Job Summary
Conduct RF/payload/communication system analysis, modeling, and simulation to estimate performance and maintain technical budgets. Craft and manage system specifications and verification techniques while collaborating with program management, discipline engineering, and AI&T teams to shape mission CONOPS. Provide support to product management as a liaison with customers, ensuring alignment with ambiguous requirements and smooth program execution. Participate in test planning and integration campaigns at the spacecraft manufacturer's site, adhering to rigorous quality standards. Requires Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility and 12+ years of experience in RF or Optical subsystems. Salary range $180,000–$235,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
- US Citizen
- 12+ years of experience as an Electrical/Systems Engineer
- Detailed knowledge of RF and/or Optical Subsystems
- Prior experience delivering a spacecraft to orbit and/or space-qualified hardware to a customer
Desired Qualifications
- DoD or Intelligence Community Top Secret background investigation with at least 3 years of eligibility remaining or CE status
- SCI eligibility with current experience in SCI programs and/or Special Access Programs
- Experience with STK, HFSS and requirements management tools
