Job Summary
Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems. Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment. Learn a breadth of advanced software technologies including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice design; modern DevSecOps and CI/CD practices; software lifecycle for defense projects; satellite ground system technologies. Preferred experience in satellite planning and scheduling software, SAFe Agile, microservices in AWS with Docker/Kubernetes, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and tools like Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience designing and developing object-oriented software using Java
- Experience with Java multi-threading
- Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar software systems
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance that can be crossed over to a TS/SCI security clearance is also acceptable
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
