Job Summary
Principal Microelectronics Engineer to support technical/programmatic assessments across the microelectronics supply chain, from design through manufacturing, test and integration, for defense-oriented programs. Will provide strategic guidance to a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, policy makers, and executives; interface with government, industry, and academia nationwide. Requires deep expertise in microelectronics hardware across multiple areas (supply chain, wafer-level design/fabrication/test, chip-scale design/fabrication/test, hardware programming) and the ability to brief senior executives. 20% travel and active Secret clearance path are involved.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Willingness/ability to obtain Secret-level clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 12+ years of experience (MS substituting 10+ years; PhD substituting 8+ years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
