Job Summary
Lead on the development of scientifically accurate and engaging medical education and brand marketing communication materials as the Principal Medical Writer. This role involves crafting high-science content, including disease state overviews and clinical data for presentations. Collaborate with client Medical Directors and global healthcare specialists, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines. Candidates must have a strong background in medical communications, an understanding of various therapy areas, and the ability to engage with clients at a high scientific level.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in medical communications
- Indepth understanding of therapy areas, treatment options, patient pathways, mechanisms of action
- Ability to engage in high-level scientific discussions
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and drug development process
- Extensive experience delivering scientifically robust content for pharmaceutical clients
- Expertise in high-science content writing for scientific congresses
- Experience liaising with global clinicians and healthcare professionals
- Thorough knowledge of and compliance with industry guidelines like Sunshine Act and ABPI
- Understanding of statistical analyses
