Job Summary
Perform detailed structural analyses to support all phases of programs, generating test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware compliance. Analyze test data to correlate models and generate mechanical loads, working with limited oversight on complex problems under program cost and schedule constraints. Coordinate and lead technical peer reviews to ensure accuracy of work products, presenting results to internal stakeholders and external government customers. Travel to test sites to support discussions and act as a technical leader to define department processes and lead teams to meet milestones.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- Experience running complex structural analysis with any of the following tools: PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS or equivalent software
- Ability to lead teams
- Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to travel to test sites to support test or design discussion
- Ability to travel to government and other facilities in support of program activities

Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in the structural analysis of complex systems that require collaboration of multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience in structural testing: planning, organization, execution, data reduction and correlation
- Experience with dynamic shock and vibration analysis
- Experience with solid modeling CAD tools such as CREO or equivalent
- Experience with Matlab
- Experience presenting to external customers
- Advanced degree in aforementioned disciplines
- ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
