Principal Mechanical Engineer

Principal Mechanical Engineer leads and develops the mechanical team, delivering mechanical design solutions and collaborating with stakeholders across EPC/EPCM projects for mineral processing facilities. Responsible for technical delivery and governance of mechanical design packages across project phases, driving quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring schedule adherence. Provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to the team, promotes continuous improvement of standards and tools, and works with multi-disciplinary teams to align allocations with project requirements. Requires extensive experience (minimum 15 years) in a design/consultancy environment for mechanical engineering in base metals minerals processing, with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
