Job Summary
Lead technical efforts for Patriot GEM-T Manufacturing Engineering, driving problem-solving and process improvements to reduce cycle time, ergonomic risk, and costs. Develop, maintain, and review Manufacturing Data Packages including assembly instructions, workflow routing, and tool designs while guiding production teams through troubleshooting and engineering changes. Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators, utilizing SAP and Microsoft systems to analyze quality trends and resolve factory constraints. Act as the producibility authority, coordinating change reviews, managing variances, and leading cross-functional projects across the extended value stream to optimize product designs.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Detailed working knowledge of CMES, PRISM and PDM
- Previous experience with technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), configuration management practices, Military and Industry standards (such as J-STD-001), CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE) and/or simulation tools
- Experience in manufacturing engineering support of integration of complex electronic subassemblies
- Ability to identify, reduce and eliminate cost, quality, and schedule constraints through technical engagements
- Understand and utilize factory and program performance data
