Principal Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Interface with design engineering to coordinate new product releases, estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements. Maintain records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations while applying lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives. Establish operational metrics and key indicators for process control and performance improvement. Requires knowledge of analytical instruments, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge in analytical instruments like Atomic Spectroscopy and instrument automation platform
- Knowledge in ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
- Good oral and written communication
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and develop, communicate and improve business processes and systems
- Ability to lead change and establish operational metrics and key indicators for process control, communication and performance improvement
- Strong drive for results, balanced with effective decision making and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge, skills and ability to implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement initiatives
