Job Summary
Create and maintain complex financial models to analyze investment opportunities and track portfolio performance. Conduct due diligence on target companies, including financial analysis, competitive positioning, and risk assessment, while leading transaction execution through negotiations and legal documentation. Evaluate potential for value creation and growth within prospective investments, then work closely with portfolio companies to drive operational improvements and execute exit strategies such as IPOs or secondary sales. Prepare investment memoranda and reports for internal and external stakeholders, communicating progress to senior management and investors. This role involves evaluating, executing, and managing private equity investments in life sciences, focusing on oncology, neurosciences, and rare diseases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and under tight deadlines
- Strong ethics, transparency, and integrity in all business dealings
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or CFA
- Life Sciences or Biotechnology experience
