Job Summary
Principal Machine Learning Scientist leads development, evaluation, and application of state-of-the-art ML models for biomolecular design, target discovery, biomarker discovery, and patient stratification; shapes the future of biomedical research in a global, collaborative MLR team, with responsibilities spanning biological foundation models (protein/RNA language models, single-cell, spatial-omics, multimodal architectures), virtual cell/patient modeling to simulate cellular states, AI integration into drug discovery, and communication with scientists and external partners. Requires hands-on ML expertise with sequence-to-function, nucleotide language models, generative and multimodal fusion methods, experience with large-scale omics datasets, strong Python (PyTorch, pandas, scikit-learn) programming skills, scientific rigor, and excellent English communication.
