Job Summary
Principal Linux Systems Administrator responsible for implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems across client/server/storage/network devices with UNIX and Windows OS configuration, virtualization, and security/compliance improvements. Key duties include account and access management, system configuration and management, day-to-day IT support and incident resolution, user assistance, capacity planning, and dispatch hardware support while ensuring STE/STN compliance and heightened security. Requires 15+ years of SA experience, a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Salary range: $116,350 – $210,325 annually. Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland (US). For Leidos in the Intelligence sector with Cyber & Analytics focus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Fifteen (15) or more years of experience as a System Administrator (SA) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Experience with LINUX, Windows and Virtualization
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
