Job Summary
Provide IT systems administration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows; collaborate across teams to implement secure, cost-efficient environments across classified programs; configure and manage DNS, DHCP, LDAP/AD, and server replication; work with Ansible for automation; troubleshoot hardware/OS integrations and support data backup/RAID technologies; develop solutions and documentation for complex IT problems; coordinate with Cybersecurity professionals to meet security requirements; 24x7 operations with occasional after-hours work; travel up to 10% to other U.S. domestic locations; 100% onsite; must obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification within 6 months; U.S. government security clearance required (DoD Secret) and U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret)
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance
- Must have Linux experience
- Experience in LDAP, Active Directory, VMware, MySQL, networking administration experience
- DoD 8570/8140 Certification requirements or equivalent (e.g., Security+ CE) within 6 months of start date
