Job Summary
Senior Principal-level lawyer sought for a short-term secondment to lead a small Legal Services team (two legal advisors and one senior legal advisor) and provide strategic legal guidance across the Serious Fraud Office. Responsibilities include leadership, governance, regulatory processes, legal risk identification and mitigation, coaching and mentoring lawyers, and delivering legal training. Role reports to the Deputy Chief Executive Legal and Corporate and focuses on leadership and advisory work without court appearances. Location options are Auckland or Wellington, New Zealand, with a duration from late July 2026 to mid-November 2026 and flexible working arrangements; current practicing certificate required.
