Job Summary
Principal Jetty/Coastal Engineer responsible for supporting lead engineer in preparing engineering deliverables across jetty/coastal infrastructure projects. Involves conceptual, FEED and detailed design for marine facilities including dredging, mooring/berthing, jetty head structures, and associated geotechnical/structural considerations; close liaison with clients and coordination with global project teams; requires familiarity with marine design codes and ability to manage multiple tasks in a multidisciplinary environment. Demonstrated capability across surveys/data gathering, metocean and bathymetry analysis, onshore/topography, environmental baselines, and commercial/contractual scopes of work; strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and delivering technically sound solutions within project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- First or higher degree in Structural Engineering or Naval Architectural
- Experienced in Conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering of jetty / coastal structure
- In-depth knowledge of latest revisions of applicable design codes
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work both independently and in an multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to work in an office-based role
