Job Summary
Develop enterprise-grade software using Java, Oracle, ReactJS, and AWS to support life-critical NEXUS applications for maritime and aviation search and rescue coordination. Design data models, implement CRUD operations via ORM frameworks, and manage RESTful/OpenAPI specifications alongside SOAP WSDLs. Maintain DevOps workflows with Jenkins, Git, and Maven while producing detailed design artefacts for the Applications Director and CIO. Perform software releases following established processes and provide on-call services as part of a team roster, historically with rare escalations between 10pm and 6am.
