Job Summary
Lead the specification, selection, and integration of process instrumentation for advanced high-temperature gas reactor development, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, position, vibration, and gas analysis systems. Develop instrument datasheets, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and commissioning procedures while supporting reactor protection and process control system design. Manage instrument calibration, loop checks, FAT, SAT, startup, and commissioning activities for helium systems, electric heaters, turbomachinery, and cooling systems. Establish instrumentation standards and mentor junior engineers within the Engineering organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline", "10+ years of experience with industrial process instrumentation", "Experience with complex thermal-fluid systems, power generation, chemical processing, nuclear, aerospace test facilities, or similar industries", "Strong understanding of instrumentation selection, calibration, and commissioning", "Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder)
Desired Qualifications
