Principal Infrastructure Security Engineer

Job Summary
Design and oversee enterprise-wide security architecture for Brivo Video's SaaS infrastructure, embedding security by design into the software development life cycle. Monitor zero-day threats and drive timely remediations while conducting advanced threat modeling to identify and mitigate complex vulnerabilities. Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams and executive leadership, communicating cyber risks in terms of business impact. Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for severe security incidents. This role requires 8+ years of experience scaling secure SaaS infrastructure in cloud-native environments, with deep expertise in API and service mesh security including mTLS and zero-trust models.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years designing, scaling, and maintaining secure SaaS infrastructure in high-availability, cloud-native environments
- Deep technical expertise with edge and internal proxy architectures (Envoy, Nginx)
- Knowledge of mTLS
- Knowledge of rate limiting
- Knowledge of zero-trust network models
- Knowledge of traffic controls for video streaming and data transport
