Job Summary
Upgrade and maintain the security posture of all networks at Blossom Point Tracking Facility by installing new security products, monitoring for breaches, and conducting periodic vulnerability scans to apply mitigation techniques. Execute incident response activities to minimize impact from intrusions while designing secure network architectures and developing security policies. Manage risk assessment, disaster recovery, and forensic tools to ensure enterprise system compliance with DoD STIG and RMF standards. Requires TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor's degree, and 8 years of experience in security engineering and system administration. Salary ranges from $120,000 to $190,000.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the fields of mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
- 8 years related experience
- Expert technical knowledge in security engineering and IT systems engineering
- Excellent analytical skills
- Capability to quantify risk to enterprise systems
- Capability to quantify level of compliance with security policy
- Strong IT system and application engineering background
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9
- Experience with Windows 11
- Experience with Windows Server 2012
- Experience with Active Directory Group Policy
- Experience with networking
- Experience with VMware vSphere 5 & 6
- Experience with ESS
- Experience with ACAS
- Experience with certification testing
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with information assurance tools
- Experience with DoD STIG
- Experience with vulnerability assessment
- CISSP, CISM, or DoD 8140 / 8570.1 certification (IAM level 3)
- Knowledge of Network Security tools – Nessus, FireEye, Suricata, or Palo Alto
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management tools - LogRhythm, ArcSight, NetWitness, Splunk Enterprise Security, or AlienVault
Desired Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, or DoD 8140 / 8570.1 certification (IAM level 3) desired
- Network Security tools – Nessus, FireEye, Suricata, or Palo Alto knowledge highly desired
