Job Summary
Lead operational excellence in service and repair using Lean and Industrial Engineering methodologies. Develop capacity models to determine tooling, equipment, and headcount aligned with demand; analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and reduce wait times; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions; drive data-informed decision-making through collection and visualization of operational metrics; partner with Service, Operations, and Engineering to implement scalable process improvements; manage projects from concept to completion; support standard work development and on-site process validation; travel to multiple Service sites 10–25% to drive multi-site alignment and improvement; requires advanced degree (Master’s) and Lean/Six Sigma certification; experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau); knowledge of ERP or MES systems; role split between production floor engagement and analytical work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (minimum 5 years of related experience; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience)
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in a Service and Repair environment
- Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of ERP or MES systems
- Strong data-informed decision-making and ability to analyze workflows, bottlenecks, and capacity requirements
- Ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects and provide on-site support on the production floor
- Ability to travel 10–25% to multiple Service sites
