Job Summary
Principal II Solution Designer at Sabre leads end-to-end solution design across travel technology products, collaborating with product, engineering, consulting and commercial teams to translate core business needs into technically sound, ROI-driven solutions. The role drives cross-team collaboration, mentors junior staff, engages internal and external customers in business discussions, and champions AI-enabled growth and innovation within travel retailing and Offer-Order ecosystems. It involves understanding the Sabre suite, integrating with other systems, shaping responses to complex sales opportunities and RFPs, and contributing to process improvements in a geographically distributed, hybrid-work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in travel technology
- Ideal focus: PSS, Offer-Order, Agentic AI, NDC, E-commerce, Payments, Loyalty, APIs, retail intelligence
- Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation initiatives end-to-end
- Experience managing competing interests with project management and deep functional/technical background
- Ability to design and document complex solutions across multiple touchpoints
- Strong ability to present compelling solutions to business needs grounded in technology
- Ownership mindset with tactical and strategic thinking for measurable results
- Ability to work independently and resolve project challenges creatively and methodically
- Comfortable working in a geographically distributed, highly collaborative virtual environment
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments with diverse priorities
- Excellent self-organization and multitasking across projects
- Skilled communicator able to engage customers at all levels from end user to C-level
- Nice-to-have: Bachelors/Masters in CS or related fields
- Nice-to-have: Travel industry knowledge (carriers, agencies)
- Knowledge of Agentic AI trends and dynamic offers
- Experience with Google AI/Google Cloud
- Hybrid working mode experience
