Principal Human Resources Leader

Job Summary
Provide HR management and employee services across major HR functions including employee/labor relations, collective bargaining interpretation and administration, grievance handling, union negotiations support, union avoidance, EEO/AA, training and development, performance counseling, and compensation/benefits administration. Lead recruiting and onboarding, support safety, workers’ compensation, and wellness initiatives, coordinate with divisional HR and operations, develop and monitor HR budgets, and prepare cases for unemployment and employment commission proceedings. Requires extensive knowledge of labor/employment law and collective bargaining agreements; experience in performance management, benefits, and HR policy administration; Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years HR generalist experience; PHR/SPHR preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in an HR generalist role with an emphasis on employee and labor relations
- PHR or SPHR (preferred - not required)
