Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of major highways and transport infrastructure projects across NSW; drive technical excellence across complex road and multidisciplinary design packages; develop innovative and practical engineering solutions for key transport clients; mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams; build trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners; support growth of AECOM’s highways capability across Sydney and NSW; flexible work arrangements including hybrid options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- relevant professional registration or chartership
- 8+ years of experience within highways, roads or transport infrastructure engineering
- proven experience delivering highways and transport infrastructure projects within a consulting environment
- strong technical capability across road design and relevant Austroads and TfNSW standards
- ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project deliverables
- confidence building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- commercial awareness with experience managing project scope, budgets and programme outcomes
- collaborative and proactive approach with a passion for mentoring and developing others
