Job Summary
Conduct roadway and highway design from conceptual stages through final contract plans, preparing technical reports and studies for NJDOT and County projects. Lead project field visits to assess conditions and inventory critical design elements while collaborating with multidiscipline design teams. Provide technical oversight to engineering staff and manage project budgets, schedules, and scope adherence. Participate in public outreach tasks and professional organizations. This role offers fast-track career growth within a multi-discipline team focused on TAP and SRTS projects, supporting Technical Management or Project Management career paths.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (BSCE)
- NJ PE License
- 10+ years of Engineering experience
- capable of supervising Engineer/Junior Engineer level staff
- Familiarity with TAP and SRTS projects through NJDOT Local Aid a Plus
