Job Summary
Principal Heterogeneous Systems Architect leading architectural innovation across heterogeneous compute architectures (CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, DSPs, NPUs, accelerators) for advanced test and measurement systems. Responsible for HW/SW/system co-design, partitioning host/accelerator/real-time domains, and developing prototypes and benchmarks; oversee modeling, simulation, and hands-on prototyping to evaluate performance, power, cost, and scalability. Collaborate across labs, product engineering, silicon, software, and platform teams; contribute to CTO-level technology roadmaps and communicate architectural insights to technical and executive audiences. Mentors engineers and architects to raise system-level thinking; requires strong programming skills (C/C++, Python, CUDA, OpenCL, SYCL, HDL) and deep understanding of memory hierarchies, interconnects, real-time constraints, and performance modeling. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
