Job Summary
Principal, Head of Private Markets & Investor Solutions leading strategy for private markets investors in Singapore and APAC; responsible for client acquisition and relationship management, developing and innovating risk-based services for private market clients, engaging with industry associations and professional advisors, and building public thought leadership; oversees a growing BI team with cross-practice collaboration across Asia, with a focus on portfolio risk solutions, and leading complex engagements leveraging internal expertise across country, compliance and risk intelligence, knowhow and data; requires scoping and delivering complex engagements, sustaining trusted advisor relationships with senior decision-makers, expanding client relationships, and innovating services for clients in private markets investing across multiple sectors (private equity, credit, infrastructure, real assets, real estate, sovereign wealth, development funds); fluency in English and preferably one other Asian language; strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and multi-tasking skills; ability to manage pricing and project management.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Professional experience in private markets, investment banking, or consulting
- Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills in English (and preferably one other Asian language)
- Advanced analytical and report writing skills in English (and preferably one other Asian language)
- Methodical approach and strong project management skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple commitments under time pressure
- Demonstrable commercial acumen when planning and pricing projects
