Job Summary
Develop state-of-the-art Network Visibility Hardware products by authoring schematics and managing PCB layout resources using Cadence tools. Support sustaining efforts to improve yields while collaborating with Mechanical, RTL, and Software teams on manufacturing. Resolve EMC non-compliance issues and address high-speed signal integrity challenges through complex lab measurements and debugging. Design switching power supplies and embedded platforms with a focus on high-performance computing. This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years of product development experience from concept to production. Based in Austin, Texas, full-time employment with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5-7 years relevant experience
- Experience in product development from concept to production
- Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity concepts and practices
- Experience with EMC design techniques and solving EMC non-compliance issues
- Proficient with lab equipment and capturing complex measurements
- Experience with high performance processors and embedded platforms
- Competent with Cadence tools: OrCad/Concept, Allegro
- Knowledge of PCB Stackup's, and understanding of materials
- Experience with switching power supply design
- Strong de-bug skills and analytical problem solving
- Ability to excel in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Ability to work in small teams
- Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
- Board level design with experience in high speed networking products
