Job Summary
Principal, Global Process Engineering leads cross-site manufacturing excellence initiatives for Entegris’ Fluid Management business. Responsible for developing deep technical knowledge of FM manufacturing processes, building a global process standardization roadmap, and driving projects that improve yield, cycle time, cost, and defect reduction across multiple sites. Facilitates data-driven continuous improvement, mentors team members on engineering best practices and problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA), communicates effectively with BU leadership, Operations, NPI/NPD, and R&D, and contributes to a Safety First culture aligned with Entegris PACE values. Requires a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or similar), 10+ years in operations/manufacturing, and ability to travel up to 25%; salary range $119,500–$149,000 with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar
- 10+ years of experience in operations/manufacturing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of high-volume manufacturing (HVM) process equipment
- Proven track record of engineering leadership in cross-functional project execution
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence projects improving Yield, Cost, and Defects
- Experience with structured problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA)
- Six Sigma certification a plus
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis; Minitab a plus
- Ability to present technical data to all organizational levels
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally (up to 25%)
