Job Summary
Senior geotechnical engineering leader responsible for strategic client development and market growth in California’s water infrastructure sector. Lead or capture major pursuits, shape proposal strategies, and provide technical authority on complex dam, tunnel, levee, and conveyance projects. Drive pursuit strategy, win themes, and value propositions, while mentoring junior engineers and guiding risk management, budget forecasting, and schedule development. Represent the firm in industry forums and at client workshops to elevate visibility and thought leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of geotechnical experience or demonstrated equivalency
- Active California PE license
- Preferred: 15+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience, including water/wastewater and conveyance infrastructure
- Experience presenting to public agencies and executive stakeholders
- Active California GE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Project management experience on complex public infrastructure programs
