Principal Game Economist

Principal Game Economist to lead economic strategy across three studios in Barcelona. This senior individual-contributor role blends advanced research and hands-on design to diagnose economic health, design pricing and reward systems, run simulations and A/B tests, and mentor embedded game teams so they can own their economies long-term. You will collaborate with another Lead Economist and report to the Director of Economy to align portfolio-wide strategies, and you will bridge cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Data Scientists, Engineers) across geographies to ensure seamless live-ops execution. Strong quantitative skills (Excel; SQL, R, or Python) and a track record of designing and optimizing complex game economies in a senior or lead capacity are required. Bonus points for Monetization strategy and experience with large-scale online/social/multiplayer games. Hybrid work model is in place, with in-office presence at the Barcelona office at least 2 days per week.
