Job Summary
Principal Full Stack Engineer for Fidelity Health Digital team within Workplace Investing. Lead architecture/design and development of web applications, delivering scalable UI components and RESTful services using Angular/TypeScript and Java/Spring Boot. Define technical standards, evaluate platform improvements, and drive cloud-native AWS deployments with a focus on security, compliance, code quality, and mentorship. Collaborate with product, design, and backend leadership to shape roadmaps and deliver exceptional healthcare customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of demonstrated ability in designing and implementing web applications
- Expertise in front-end frameworks and web technologies including HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Angular
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Cloud-Native development with AWS and containerized deployments
- Security and compliance practices in development
- Mentorship and leadership capabilities
- Strong collaboration with product, design, and backend leadership to shape roadmap
- Experience in US Benefits Administration or US Healthcare Payor domains is highly valued
