Job Summary
Own the frontend control plane UI for an early-stage AI automation company, shipping a hybrid-work model with an office presence in Union Square, NYC. Build core surface areas like workflow authoring, agent configuration, task management, and human-in-the-loop approval surfaces; deliver reporting/observability dashboards; implement real-time data sync via WebSockets/SSE; create adaptive interfaces for both technical operators and business users; collaborate closely with backend engineers on API integrations. Strong emphasis on frontend with React + TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and complex interactive UI patterns, plus experience with no-code/low-code style visual editors or workflow builders. Must be able to work in NYC or commute to Union Square several days per week; US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship not available. Hybrid work arrangement; not open to remote-only applicants. Competitive base salary of $200K–$250K depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of full-stack experience with frontend emphasis (60–80% UI)
- Expert-level React with TypeScript
- Proven experience building complex interactive UIs (dashboards, workflow builders, visual editors)
- Modern CSS proficiency (Tailwind preferred)
- Full-stack integration experience (building and consuming APIs)
- Product mindset focused on user experience
- Willingness to be NYC-based or commute to Union Square a few days per week
- Existing US work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available
