Job Summary
Lead conversations with senior stakeholders in external clients to understand business needs, then design and deliver AI/ML solutions including large language models. Develop evaluation methods to ensure performance and reliability while providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering teams. Play a mission critical role as a senior technical anchor, running concurrent major client projects with direct engagement at C-level. Requires proven GenAI experience, enterprise client facing expertise, and the ability to travel occasionally to client sites in Ireland, UK, or EU.
Required Qualifications
- Outstanding Principal Engineer
- Experience consulting with enterprise level External Clients at C-Level or Senior Management level
- Commercial GenAI or AI experience
- Living in Ireland
- Outstanding engineering experience
- Proven fairly recent GenAI experience & projects
- Proven client experience working on major projects consulting with clients at senior management and C level
- Run 3 or 4 major client projects concurrently
- Proven track record building and deploying AI/ML systems in production
- GenAI projects
- Expertise in large language models LLMs and applied AI techniques
- Strong background in software engineering and system architecture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven enterprise client facing experience a senior management or C Level
- Excellence in software engineering & proven track record at Principal Engineer level
- Engineered GenAI projects in recent years
- Total passion for AI & a curiosity to keep learning & progressing with the latest AI as it emerges
- Legal to work in Ireland, the UK and EU
- Ability to travel to client sites occasionally
