Job Summary
Manage cloud economics and financial governance within the Azure development environment by serving as the primary strategist for the Kion financial management platform. Configure automated budget enforcements, trigger alerts for threshold breaches, and implement policy guardrails to ensure strict cloud tagging compliance across all resources. Analyze complex billing structures and usage patterns to identify optimization targets, translating raw data into high-fidelity costing models and executive dashboards. This role bridges finance and engineering to instill fiscal responsibility, requiring a U.S. citizen with active TS clearance and SCI eligibility. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 3-4 days onsite, with flexibility to adjust based on emergent customer needs.
Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in cloud financial management
- Hands-on experience using a professional financial management platform for multi-account governance, financial tracking, or automated compliance
- Technical understanding of Azure cost management and billing
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders (customers, program managers, product managers, and senior leadership)
- Experience using evaluative technologies to inform senior-leader decisions
- Experience translating customer requirements into actionable user stories/features
- Experience breaking down large features into demonstrable and valuable milestones
- Experience prioritizing and delegating tasks for at least a team of 5 members
- U.S. citizen with active TS clearance and counterintelligence or fullscope polygraph
