Principal Financials Functional Consultant

Job Summary
Design, configure, and deploy Workday Financials functional requirements for customers by understanding business needs, developing prototype systems, and assisting with legacy data conversion and testing. Configure integrations between Workday and third-party solutions while applying the Workday Implementation Methodology across engagements. Mentor new consultants, ensure clients adopt best practices, and maintain product expertise and certifications. Provide status reports to the Engagement Manager and support referenceability upon production go-live. Requires 8+ years implementing ERP solutions, 50% travel, and at least half in-office quarterly.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years implementing Financial, and/or Expense Management ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Lawson, etc.) as either a consultant or customer
- Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
- Functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting
- Bachelor degree or relevant experience required
- Workday Financials Expertise
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
