Job Summary
Lead finance workstreams for acquisition, integration, and divestiture projects by partnering with cross-functional teams to establish governance, standard processes, and supporting tools. Execute SAP Finance system integrations, including loading trial balances, performing Balance Sheet reconciliations, and converting subledger balances with IT and SAP teams. Provide technical US GAAP guidance for mapping accounts and aligning acquired entities to Medtronic's Chart of Accounts and accounting policies. Define Balance Sheet perimeters and Due Diligence processes for divestitures, draft Transition Service Agreements, and operationalize market models with the Integration & Separation Management Office. Work onsite four days per week to foster cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting
- Advanced Degree with 5+ years
- Degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) for Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States
- Experience working with OneStream
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels and across the organization
- Experience integrating businesses into a shared service organization
- MS Office experience including Excel (pivots, formulas, charts)
- SAP GL experience
- Blackline
- Minimum of 4 days a week onsite
