Job Summary
Principal: FP&A professional to lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and driver-based financial models across a pan-African fintech context. Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to drive performance insights, board materials, and strategic narratives. Responsible for KPI tracking (revenue, margin, unit economics, cash), commercial finance partnering (pricing, ROI, market-entry analysis), and capital planning including fundraising support and due diligence. Embrace AI-enabled finance, process excellence, and the deployment of modern tooling to improve forecast accuracy and reporting efficiency. Travel periodically to Nairobi and other African markets. The role sits at the center of transformation, offering exposure to strategy, fundraising, and executive decision-making in a fast-growth fintech environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years FP&A or related finance experience
- experience with board reporting, forecasting, and business partnering desirable
- strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- commercially astute with ability to connect numbers to strategy
- clear communicators able to influence senior stakeholders
- comfort operating in ambiguity
- passion for AI and modern finance tools
