Job Summary

Support monthly/quarterly financial reporting and planning processes, including financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, and profitability analysis. Develop consolidated program Long Range Strategic Plans (LRSP) and Annual Operating Plans while working with business management teams to improve financial performance based on metrics. Manage program financials, including working capital analysis, invoicing, and collections, alongside Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation. Coordinate strategies to enhance financial outcomes and develop presentations for Program, Division, Sector, and Corporate leadership. This role supports the Air Dominance Division at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, located on-site in San Diego or Palmdale, CA.

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field
  • Master's degree with 3 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Data and/or financial analysis experience
  • U.S. Citizenship

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Northrop Grumman financial planning, reporting and analysis
  • Experience with IBM Cognos and Planning Analytics
  • Experience with the Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan processes
  • Excel experience including Macros, MS Excel (e.g., INDEXMATCH, Pivot tables), and PowerPoint experience
  • Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR
  • Active DOD Top Secret clearance with completed investigation in the last 6 years
