Job Summary
Principal Financial Analyst responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, and mid-to-long-term planning for Atotech (China) Chemicals Limited in Guangzhou. Core duties include coordinating MSD annual budget, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and business planning; validating revenue, gross profit, costs and expenses; maintaining forecasting models; preparing monthly management reports and executive dashboards; conducting in-depth analysis of drivers (volume, price, product mix, efficiency); supporting financial feasibility, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation; collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver real-time insights; driving process improvements and automation in budgeting/forecasting/reporting; and ensuring compliance with PRC GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 5+ years FP&A experience with 3+ in a supervisory role, advanced Excel/Power BI/SAP/Oracle skills, and strong communication abilities. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- CPA/ACCA/CMA/CFA holder preferred
- 5+ years of FP&A experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Familiarity with PRC GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP; experience with consolidated financial statements
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP, and Oracle skills
- Strong communication skills; ability to translate financial data into business insights; multi-tasking and delivering results under tight deadlines
- Experience collaborating with Business Partners, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
- Experience with financial feasibility analysis, scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and investment evaluation
- Experience building and maintaining financial models; scenario testing; investment evaluation
- Ability to deliver real-time financial insights and drive performance improvements
- Knowledge of month-end close and management reporting
- Experience with end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes; process automation/AI tools
- Exposure to global operations and diverse regulatory environments
