Job Summary
As a Principal Financial Analyst on Capital One’s AI/ML Technology Finance Team, you will own budgeting and forecasting for assigned areas, deliver actionable financial analyses, and develop presentations for senior audiences to influence business and financial outcomes. You will partner with Technology, Product, and Design leadership to assess financial implications of initiatives, provide transparency on costs and drivers, and communicate risks and opportunities to budget targets. You will manage P&L performance, support cross-functional teams with financial insights, mentor junior associates, address ad-hoc requests in ambiguous environments, and continuously develop FP&A and technical skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive strategic business outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or military experience) and 4+ years of relevant experience, with preferred MBA/CFA/CPA credentials.
