Job Summary
Uncommon Schools is seeking Principal Fellows for a full-time fellowship with a path to become a school principal. The role immerses Fellows in day-to-day school leadership across multiple campuses (Boston, Camden, New York City, Newark, Rochester) with structured coaching, feedback, and professional development aimed at developing instructional leadership, teacher development, school culture, and family engagement. Fellows work with Host Principals and the Senior Director of School Support to plan and demonstrate leadership readiness, including instructional leadership, data analysis, and high-leverage feedback through classroom observations, positioning them to co-lead a school alongside an Uncommon Director of Operations upon completion. Required experience includes at least 3 years of teaching with demonstrated student growth and at least 1 year of coaching/leadership of teachers; a Bachelor's degree is required.
