Job Summary
Lead as Owner’s Representative for global facilities, coordinating Operations, Project Management, and Construction teams to ensure successful delivery of facility projects and infrastructure initiatives. Drive mechanical and plumbing systems improvements across global facilities, translating business and operational needs into effective engineering solutions while guiding cross-functional teams. Role emphasizes collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure safety, reliability, and energy performance, with substantial onsite work (minimum 4 days/week) across Irvine, CA; Santa Ana, CA; and Tijuana, MX. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Responsibilities include planning and design through execution and operational support, data review for feasibility, cost estimation, contract preparation, site inspections, and travel up to 20-40% depending on project work. Requires strong leadership in a matrixed environment, experience reading blueprints, and knowledge of building automation and automation protocols; background in clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants, and integrated building solutions. This is a senior, principal-level role with a salary range of $127,200 to $190,800 annually for US locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of Facility Mechanical infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems experience OR Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience OR PhD and 3+ years of experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
- Experience with automation protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and LonWorks; Tridium/Niagara BAS
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in facilities/mechanical engineering or related field
