Job Summary
Lead integrated geological and geophysical interpretation programs that directly shape drilling decisions, development planning, and portfolio growth strategy across Nigeria's most prospective basins. Identify and mature drilling prospects while delivering volumetrics, reserves estimation, and risk assessments to support field extension strategies. Plan seismic acquisition and processing programs, contributing geological input to well planning and drilling risk mitigation. Coordinate multidisciplinary subsurface studies to strengthen portfolio quality and screen opportunities across new basins and licence positions. Operate at the centre of subsurface decision-making to convert opportunities into executable value within a technically ambitious E&P organization focused on rapid asset progression from discovery to production.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Geoscience, Geology, Geophysics, Physics, or related discipline
- Master's degree
- 16–20 years' upstream subsurface experience within an E&P environment
- Minimum 6 years leading multidisciplinary subsurface teams
- Strong experience in seismic interpretation
- Strong experience in regional geology
- Strong experience in play maturation
- Strong experience in volumetrics
- Strong experience in reserves evaluation
- Strong experience in basin screening
- Working knowledge of well planning and drilling integration workflows
- Experience supporting asset growth in frontier and producing environments
Desired Qualifications
- PhD
- Strong proficiency in Petrel (Kingdom advantageous)
