Principal EP Mapping Specialist, CAS- Long Island

Job Summary
Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on EP mapping and navigation systems and all CAS products. Educate hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters, promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products, and develop customer relationships to drive incremental business. Collaborate with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify sales opportunities and conduct customer training for mapping solutions. Serve as a regional champion to influence proficiency in mapping technology while working alongside clinicians, engineers, and physicians. This role requires residing within the Long Island territory, driving 25-50% of the time, and being available for unscheduled needs and occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation
- Associate degree
- Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation
- Valid driver's license
- Active vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to freely move throughout the facility
- Ability to use a phone, keyboard and mouse
- Ability to visually interact with personal computers
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day
- Must be able to drive approximately 25-50% of the time within assigned territory
- Must be able to travel outside of assigned territory
- Must be available as unscheduled needs arise
- Must be within their assigned territory each day
- U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
Desired Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline
- Minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales
- Proven track record with technical training assignments
- Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field
- Experience in EP lab, in a hospital/clinic
- Experience in EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support
- Degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
