Principal Enterprise IT Risk Engineer (Archer)

Job Summary
Lead the configuration, customization, and ongoing support of the Archer enterprise GRC solution, shaping technical designs from requirements, delivering incremental modules in an agile lifecycle, and guiding junior engineers. Drive data feeds/integrations with other enterprise systems, develop advanced Archer workflows and reports, and ensure secure operations. Candidate will mentor teammates, serve as a technical SME, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the GRC program while maintaining compliance with risk frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001). Role may be performed from the Raleigh, NC office or remotely within North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience configuring and implementing Archer use cases at medium to large-sized companies
- Hands-on experience configuring the Archer software platform
- Proven expertise in Archer features: Calculated fields, data publications, Archer Control Panel, Job Engine, API development and integration
- Experience in agile or hybrid software teams with daily stand-ups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Ability to lead technical projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Solid understanding of IT risk management, controls frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and risk assessment methodologies
