Principal Enterprise Architect (Remote)

Principal Enterprise Architect responsible for co-designing target-state enterprise architectures with business, technology, and product leaders, focusing on clinical operations and clinical trial management to ensure consistency, scalability, and regulatory compliance. Define target data, AI, and interoperability reference architectures; map capabilities to processes, systems, products, and data domains; and drive roadmaps aligned to strategy and OKRs. Leverage EA tools (LeanIX, Ardoq, MEGA) to maintain capability models, governance, and portfolio health. Bring hands-on experience with AI/ML, agentic AI, data warehousing, and modern architectures (event-driven, microservices, API-first) and translate clinical objectives into reusable architectural patterns and roadmaps. Collaborate with trial operations, site engagement, patient recruitment, and data management leaders to optimize study delivery, while assessing impact on timelines, regulatory risk, and patient outcomes. Proficiency with Databricks/Snowflake data platforms, data governance, and automation; comfort with both on-premises and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS). Strong communication and leadership to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of standards across geographies and therapeutic areas.
