Job Summary
Principal Engineer role focusing on Architecture and Engineering for enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions. Lead strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges across applications, networks, information security, databases, operating systems, or web technologies. Provide vision to leadership on implementing innovative business solutions and drive design/architecture of cloud infrastructure with emphasis on scalability, security, and performance. Collaborate with Cloud Architects, DevOps, and Application teams to implement IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions). Maintain expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, API integration, cloud security, monitoring, and cost management. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js; strong communication and leadership skills; experience with cloud modernization or migration initiatives; knowledge of Istio/Linkerd and serverless/edge computing is a plus. Certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP and DevSecOps/FinOps practices are valued. Act as a technical SME, mentoring engineers, and guiding end-to-end delivery of cloud components.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Desired Qualifications: 7+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in cloud engineering roles.
