Job Summary
Lead the development and evolution of thermal-hydraulics analysis methods and tools for reactor components, including strategy for modernization and efficiency improvements. Guide the application and selection of analysis tools (e.g., CFD, 1-D flow network models) and mentor engineers in thermal-hydraulics fundamentals and best practices. Collaborate with systems engineering, safety analysis, and other technical teams to integrate data, improve workflows, and ensure analytical consistency. Drive complex engineering problem solving, identify risks, develop execution plans, and deliver solutions, while championing AI-enabled engineering tools to boost productivity, quality, and traceability. Manage multi-functional technical projects and contribute to organizational capability building. Location: Cranberry Township, PA with flexible remote work; role is hybrid.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS) or related engineering field with significant thermal-hydraulic experience
- 5+ years of Thermal Hydraulic Analyses and CFD experience
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience
- Total experience: minimum 10 years, or 8 years with advanced degree
