Principal Engineer

Lead architecture for high-scale consumer applications serving millions of users, designing systems optimized for low latency, high throughput, and global distribution. Architect distributed services using Java and Python, drive standardization of APIs and SDKs, and build AI-powered features including recommendations, conversational interfaces, and LLM-based systems with RAG pipelines. Define robust microservices and event-driven patterns ensuring horizontal scalability, fault isolation, and graceful degradation while maintaining high SLA/SLOs. Establish modern SDLC practices with CI/CD automation, blue-green deployments, and feature flags, alongside scalable automated testing strategies and observability frameworks. Partner with product, UX, and data science teams to translate business goals into consumer-centric technical solutions, communicate architecture trade-offs to executive stakeholders, and lead POCs for AI-first experiences and hyper-personalization.
